Abri\u00f3 su primera convocatoria en 2012, a\u00f1o en el que tambi\u00e9n particip\u00f3 la Comisi\u00f3n Nacional para el de los Pueblos Ind\u00edgenas (CDI).&nbsp;<br>El PROBEPI busca promover el desarrollo individual y colectivo de los pueblos originarios de M\u00e9xico a trav\u00e9s de la formaci\u00f3n de investigadores y profesionales de alto nivel acad\u00e9mico quienes, con base en los conocimientos y la experiencia adquiridos durante los estudios, se conviertan en profesionales sobresalientes en sus respectivas \u00e1reas de especializaci\u00f3n para promover la equidad y contribuir con ello al desarrollo local, regional y nacional.
